PrivatePhone.com Will Be No More

I made a recommendation for this free voice mail system, PrivatePhone.com a year ago, and have really enjoyed the service.  Unfortunately, I recently discovered that it’s not going to be available any longer after December 15, 2007.

If you currently have a phone number through PrivatePhone.com, please login to your account to find out what they are doing with this service.

Since one of the numbers I have through them is ALL over the Internet and on business cards, I’m going to transfer my service.  Not because I really want to, but because that number is ‘out there’ and I don’t want people calling it to find out it’s been disconnected.

Ah, FREE doesn’t always mean that it is, or that it will last, so it seems.
